A Hibernating Hedgehog by Martin Honeysett

A hibernating hedgehog,

Woke up to greet the spring,

He’d set the alarm for half-past May,

But he hadn’t heard it ring.

In fact he’d gone and overslept,

A silly thing to do,

Not only had he missed the spring,

He’d missed the summer too.
